Ah but he can still put glass to mouth very well indeed, so his coordination is 100% I can vouch for that

Hard boat ! No way !

Had a couple of texts from AJ (our very own Ribnet diver, globe trotter and rib nobber) who said about tides and water temp.

Not keen at using a speargun but would still like to snorkel somewhere only accessible by sib, maybe do a little cruise in the summer when it arrives

Saw a story on line that someone shot a blue tuna or something that caused quite a stir and loads of people turned up to catch one, some leaving their boats unattended without a flag which created 2 shouts

I'm back and it's chuffin cold here. The thought of going snorkelling is low on my to do list until I adjust to our weather.

Although whisper I have got a stack of lead that I will happily strap to your person and can give you a mask and 15m of hose pipe I can pump the air down to you on the bravo pump and you can go bag me a lobster

Hand to mouth is a reflex action. It's the barbed comments that sometimes hit the wrong target.

I can see a ribnet diving cruise/bubble blowing thread coming on...

That's if AJ has actually escaped 'Dog the bounty hunter'?

I was thinking of the BTP it would be too hard pumping and having a cig at the same time, although Whisper may come up floating with lung over expansion!

Dived around that area and Ballard Down lots, and there really is not a lot of life there. As suggested, you MIGHT see more on the entrance to Swanage Bay.

Thanks Ian

I'm thinking about a new project that should be just the ticket for a trip to Swanage Bay

But I'm not aloud to talk about it

I had an old spear gun in my youth,
only thing I ever shot was a couple of flat fish off Redcar and once accidentally shot & stuck it the kitchen/ living room door ,
Though me mate who used to be the local water bailiff for the local angling club shot a 4 foot long pike in a mill dam one evening with it that had been eating loads of recently stocked fish he dident even get his feet wet as it was just at the waters edge .

Hugh Jardon (non- active member) shot about 20lb of Grey Mullet by hanging over the side of the pontoon at Mylor Harbour. He wasn't very keen on actually getting in the water.
