hi all, i have a small inflatable and 15hp motor which can be carried in the boot of my car. i live in stockport (greater manchester) my question is, where is the nearest patch of water fresh/salt where i can take my little oufit for a spin without having to go to north wales every weekend.
Well you could try the Wirral, Blackpool or fleetwood, If you can tolerate a 10mph speed limit then the lakes but then neither of the above saves much time if any over a trip to N. Wales. Although there is the the Ashton canal right on your door step if you can plod along at 4mph
