Hi i have the chance of a sun sport 290 m at a good price are they reasonable .If so looking at a 4hp maybe Parsun or a secondhand something else.This is your falt Phil just incase your reading.

I don't know how much you want to spend, but I would recommend a nice second hand set up for around the £1500 pond mark you will get a nice setup with well know branded names!

I bought my present sib back in 2007 and it was only a year old recon its worth more today than I paid for it!

As above - go second hand big brand for both SIB and engine - you will then sell it for the same as purchase if you buy at the right price/time (ie now, winter), ends up costing you nothing when you re-sell.

Hi picked up my sib today,ordered cranked wheels and a decent pump,engine next so expect to be on the water soon.

Had 1st trip in the sib a few problams but enjoyed it.I had the company of a young seal on the way back ,while rowing, not that un common you might think but was 40 ish miles inland.
