How long is it exactly, and how fast do you expect it to go with that motor?

I think he's had 28kts out of it. I can't remember the length but it's circa 5m. I'm sure he'll be along soon to post some photos and video that we took on one outing last month.

That sounds pretty reasonable for this boat and motor combo. He could probably tweak a little more speed with the boat unloaded by playing with the prop pitch and outboard height & tilt.
How is the trailer design working for launch & recovery?

4.7m and yes 28 knots I've clocked so far. There could be more if I carried less weight, I've got 2x 22l fuel bladders, 30kg of rubber floor etc so it's not the lightest FC around.
Trailer's working out fine, I haven't tried a beach launch yet which was the main reason for the design. I've always been single handed for launching so far, I'll wait till I've got someone with me for the first time on the beach just in case it gets messy. It does draw a fair bit of water so a decent length of rope back to the car will be needed.
I clamped the go-pro cam to the transom once but it's too low to see anything over the bow so a rethink is required there. I'll see if I've still got the footage and post some of it up anyway if anyone's interested.
Keith - I couldn't do anything with those HD clips you gave me, downloaded a convertor but it was rubbish, nothing I had would play them properly.

Strung a few little clips together below. Seems possibly the engine vibration causes issues with the camera being clamped to the transom, at lower revs the picture goes kinda wavy.

Looks good. I've been wanting to get a bullet style video camera for a while now for this sort of thing.

How do you avoid the rocks that are right under the surface? I thought I saw some water breaking over some of them in the beginning of the video. What kind of fish do you catch in those waters? Nice scenary too.

I'm not sure which clip you're referring to, in the last couple the water is very clear & not quite as shallow as it looks, local knowledge also helps me keep the prop in it's current shape.
I'm no expert but species round here include bass, mackerel, turbot, brill, pollock, bream, mullet, tope, wrasse, plaice, cod, rays, etc. etc

A bit more GoPro footage from yesterday, I've now got a head strap for the camera, works quite well I think:
