Taking the Sib to Jersey

on the ferry!
I'm going camping to Jersey end of the month & will take my Sib 3.8 bombard & the yammi 15!
Can any one recommend any good places to launch from & some smaller coves & beaches to explore?
I have launching wheels so can roll it down a beach with ease & will stick it on the car roof to get back to camp site!
Any suggestions please?

Most of the bays have slipways (originally for collecting seaweed for farming) so access is easy. You might like to try Beauport or Greve de Lecq. Both quite scenic, though you can't launch at Beauport as it's down a steep cliff, so motor round from St Brelade's bay for that one. St Catherines bay and Anneport on the east are good as well. Choose a time when the tide's up.

Might see you around!

Hi there, you can also use the slip way at st helier (la collete), as you can launch at any state of the tide. regards Chris.

Best advice I can give is go to a news agents when you get here and buy a tide table book!

St Brelade's Bay is lovely and you can motor to a lovely bay whose name I can't remember but it has a tower that gets cut off by the tide. Go out turn left.

Massive tidal range in the CIs don't get caught out.
