Thames - temp mooring pontoons

Gents,

Contemplating doing a Thames run at the weekend, will be launching at Putney, and was hopeing to moor up somewhere around docklands / Greenwich for lunch.

Are there any public pontoons / jettys where you can moor for a few hours? Anyone have any recommendations?

Cheers,

Steve.

Steve , in short the answer is probably no , but check-out the PLA leisure map

http://www.pla.co.uk/display_fixedpa...ite/recreation

Perhaps a phone call to South Dock Marina or Greenwich Yacht Club might yield a result .

We normally travel East to West so it's easier to find a "scenic spot " up-river.

Regards Bern.

Thanks Bern, Kind of what I was expecting. I used to live on Greenland dock so I'll give them a shout.

Cheers,

Steve
