The good old days of sibbing in the 1960s

just came across this RNLI promotinal film that may be of intrest to some of you sibbers out there from the 1960s ,,,things were a bit basic by todays standards ,its in 2 parts

Nice one,

Ah, the old days.

Not the 60's but the early 80's I had an old Campari which was full of patches and slow leaks powered by a 2hp Johnson.

Took it to France, launched from a safe slipway and started to get that sinking feeling.

Didn't realise how submerged a Johnson could be and still run, all in front of our French cousins.

Next stop, the local French rubbish dump.
