Thrust Board - Zeb 38

Hey all!
I have an old Zed 38 that I need to replace the floorboards for.
Question... is the Z38 supposed to have a fixed thrust board?
The thrust board was not attached when I got the boat so I never even knew that there was such a thing as an attached section of floorboard.
It seemed to work OK before, but maybe it would perform better if it were attached. ???
I have no clue.

Thanks,
Greg

Oh, and of course the title of the thread was supposed to read "Thrust Board - Zed 38".

I had a Zed 31 as a kid, I'm pretty sure it didn't have a fixed board.

However performance was hugely improved with the addition of titanium rods to brace across the bow board and the one directly behind.
