Transom U-Bolts / towing eyes

I'm looking to fit some U-bolts or towing eyes to the transom of my YAM 330. They'll mainly be there for trailering or for tying things down, but also available in the case of towing someone in an emergency.

I'm currently looking at these: 2 x 5mm Stainless Steel U Bolts with Plate Nuts and Washers FREE DELIVERY | eBay

Do you think these are the right solution? And if so, is it a simple case of drill and fit? What sealant would you use?

Thanks

personaly i would go for the 8mm variant (in the correct length for your transom) and seal with sikaflex.

Think I'll go for 8mm then! These okay, or anyone else better/cheaper?
