Transom wheels for 5 meter SIB

I've read many posts here, but I'm still not very clear. I just bought a 5 meter SIB weighing 86kg. And I have a 30HP outboard weighing 68kg. I was told that using transom wheels for SIBs more than 4 meters and with large outboard is not a good idea. However, I won't have space to store a trailer. I plan to use a dolly under the bow together with Beachmaster wheels to move it.

I researched hand trolley, but none work with a 5 meter SIB. It seems a hand trolley with a hitch to tow it up the ramp using a car is a good idea, but I didn't find anything suitable.

Does anyone have experiences in using transom wheels on 5 meter SIB? Any advices? Thank you!

The weights you quote seem to be within the tolerances if the better quality transom wheels so I can’t see a problem.

Other than the weight of your outboard but I guess it’s possible to lift it off the transom but I wouldn’t want to do it very often [emoji15]

Just check the weight limit of the transom wheels before you fit them [emoji1303] or get a hand troller and extend it slightly?

In all honesty I think the pneumatic futura wheels would be a better heavy duty choice for that set up. They sit the back end higher, wheels are larger and with that size engine on the back would be able to take the weight of a 30. 155kgs of just boat and engine alone without gear/fuel etc is hard work, are those beachmasters up to it??

Agree with maverick above the genuine Zodiac Futura/Aerotec heavy duty wheels are about the strongest out there. They also are the most secure in the way they fit to the transom. Of course they don’t flip up but I assume from the way you say you’ll be using the sib that’s not a problem?

Why do you think he will struggle HH... did you see he’s using a bow dolly?

Thank you, everyone! I'll look into Zodiac Futura/Aerotec heavy duty wheels.
