trolling motor?

Has anyone figured out how to use a bow mounted trolling motor on a SIB? I've seen the motor mounts that attach to the tubes of smaller lake inflatables. I wonder if there's a way to rig a trolling motor for a SIB.

suppose you could use an engine mount as used on the AVON doughnut type, the non transom dinghys ,though you would need to glue onto your boat the 4 rubber mountings where the engine bracket slides on,it would work with a small engine as long as it can swivel 360 ,

Trolling motor

This may be changing the subject a little; are trolling motors water-proof?

That's just what I was thinking of. I was just wondering if anyone had tried it. Probably not. It doesn't seem very sturdy.
