Tube discoloration

Today was the first opportunity I've had to clean Redneck since coming back from Anglesey and I noticed the tubes are fading. I'm not surprised as we do get to use Redneck often and when we do we leave it inflated for the duration of our holiday/break.
However if it fades anymore Redneck will be a misnomer, and "Orangeneck" doesn't have the same appeal.
Is there anything I can do to restore the *Red" colour or is it something I'll need to live with?

That’s red for you. Piglet is going the same way. You can try 303, this might bring the colour back up & protect it from further UV damage.
Red is about the worst colour for fading. Look at any red Vauxhall car.

Happy memories of my "Pink" Vauxhall Firenza.

Thanks Dave, I'll order some and give it a try.

Just as a follow up.

It may be obvious to some, but the cheapest place to buy 303 is directly from 393 Products.

I seem to recall A1an restoring the colour on his northcraft with leather polish or something like that - a quick search should find the thread - that boat was very red !

Sounds good, but a bit expensive. If you've got any pvc about could you give it a try on that and let me know how it turns out.

I had a few Vauxhalls. A 1970 1.0 Viva, pale blue with matching pale blue vinyl seats. Then a 1972 1800 Firenza, red with black vinyl seats, which I really liked. Followed by a 1975 2300 Magnum, shity biege with shity biege seats - awful car! only had it 12 months.
Then I fell in love with a Capri 3.0l Ghia Auto, metallic brown, biege vinyl roof, 2" jacks on the back - I honestly believe that's what Diane liked about me!

That's brought the colour back very well. I'll see what the 393 does first and if it doesn't work I'll try some.
Thanks for that.
