But with a SIB that's probably 2.7-3.0 meters your very limited when it comes to modding your propulsion, it's usually down to a petrol or electric outboard choice and that's it, fitting the small twins is a good project and does give one a 'mini' RIB looking SIB
Gotta say, it would look good especially on a pimped up SIB I think I may still do the project over the winter I've picked up a new condition waveline that would be ideal, I'm just trying to think of a suitable pair of slim enough 2 stroke outboards to use I thing to make the project a real good planner a pair of single cylinder 6hp's at least is needed only one draw back is this is going to mean fabricating some type of double throttle linkage. And for an easy removable stearing linkage they must have the front carry handles like the tohatsues used in the YouTube project above.
What's the slimmest, single cylinder, most hp 2 stroke outboards? Al that comes to mind is yamahas? Are there yammy built 6hp mariners?
