Two Tree island launching fees

Hi all,

Does anybody would know the launching fees applied at Two tree island to launch a small sib (2.65m/3.5hp)?

If you know the daily rate and season price. Also if you know any way to get a discount, would be appreciated as well.

Thanks!

When I last researched this slip it was obvious they wanted to discourage powered craft. I think it was £27 back then and I hear now they have upped it to £40 for anything with an engine. Stupid price. No idea if the guy in the shed is there all the time to make this charge.

It worked out loads cheaper for a yearly rate if you were a regular but still in the hundreds.

Edit... just found a review of the slipway and it was £40 for a powered craft 18mths ago! There was reference to the helpful "Foreshore Officer" too. Hmm helping to empty your wallet I guess.

Wow - £40 for a single launch!

Fenlander - You helped me research launching around Southend when I bought my Bombard Aerotec 6 years ago, and it was expensive then.

I replied to Cuboide on separate post to say that I sometimes launch from the beach in neighbouring Westcliff on Sea and have never been approached by anyone for payment.

I am always careful, have insurance and adhere to speed limits. I am very vigilant for swimmers around the shore and it has become so popular in recent years that there are many more to watch out for until you get into deeper water

Chris
