Unidentified part

Hello and thank you for reading.

What could this part be from please as it is currently unidentified and everything on the boats seems fine. Its from either a rib or inflatable.

The part is oval black plastic, about seven inches in length, with clips around the edges and an oval depression shape in the middle.

Thank you for reading.

You don't really need to post it in multiple forums, either.

If its 7 inches across then I'd say it looks like the boot from a foot activated windlass to me, not from an inflatable.

I agree with Capnjack, its not a standard part of a sib or rib. My guess is a spare diaphragm for a manual bilge pump.

Almost posted this yesterday.

7 inches seems a little large for a footswitch though; most I've seen are a couple-three inches at best.

But it does look like some kind of waterproof cover/gasket.
