At £425 delivered I thought how could you go wrong

It does look a bargain. Obviously the cheapest generic Chinese SIB type but if you go into it knowing that and budget is a big factor then possibly OK.

I have ordered one as a tender to a boat I keep on a mooring. It will be left in the Dingy park Theory being if it gets stolen I have not lost too much

Yep that make perfect logic.

As someone who's SIB is their only boat hence gets a bit pampered I do feel sorry for the boat park row.

I know I have a few friends who actually let their boat park tender get very messy and unkept just so it looks less attractive to Robbers.

Also I wa\s aware of another person with a new outboard on his boat on a mooring who scratched t up on purpose to make it look old

This little sib was delivered yesterday spot on time by UPS/Northern Diver and upon first impressions it looks very good for the money. When it stops raining I will post some pics of it

Yes please do... there is every chance this came out of a factory making SIBs that retail at £200-£300 more... it's just until someone takes the plunge and gets it inflated you can't tell.

Here it is going together

In between the bouts of rain I decided to blow up the new Sib. I am very impressed indeed and for £425 delivered I dont think you can go wrong with this boat. Quality seems very good. Pump is good and Oars fine. 2 seats and a carry bag

I bought this from a Company called Nothern Diver who I must say have been excellent as a Wren Navajo iut it is branded Osprey Boats and the Instructions (not that you rarely need any were all in Chinese).

It is 3.2 m long and will take up to a 15 HP Short shaft outboard. The tubes are 410 mm dia which is a nice safe size. It is rated on the plate as a Cat C boat. For a trailer boat (because of the Ali floor) I think this is an excellent first Sib

All looks good to me

Looks fine and has the details and fittings of a Chinese SIB that would usually be 50% more expensive... perhaps almost too shiny for the dinghy park?

Yes too Shiney for the Dinghy Park but I have another older one that I will replace this one with and put the older one in the Dingy Park. I think they are in effect the same Sib but this one has a few improvements

Have 1 seat in my 2.7 sib, to me the seat is to high and I sit on the floor, would prefer the seat to be say only 150mm ( 6 inches) off the floor.

If anyone is interested in a Alu Hull 3.8 and wanted a Jocky seat set up this has got to be a contender
