Wanted. 1972/ 6 cylinder 2 stroke mercury ignition switch x5 wire
Sadly. Had my ignition switch taken while my boat in storage
Left me the ignition wiring base. Approx 1.5 inch diameter fitted inside the switch barrel unit
This obviously was the original old wiring. Fitted to the remote control box
Soldered to just the base plate
Are x5 wires red/ black / yellow black. With white stripe/ orange / white
The new mercury switch wires are different
They are pr wired. X6 wires
Black.
Yellow/ red stripe
Red. / yellow stripe.
Purple
Red
Black. White stripe
Was hoping to find where the new wires fitted to the old wiring I have ?
Does anybody have a owners Manuel
Or better still
Anybody out there have an original Mercury tower of power 6 cylinder two stroke 900. ( 90 Hp )
Outboard. Ignition switch. Fits to side of remote control box

Plus x4. Rib trailers. Hoping to list when I get the time. Chance to do this

And a beautiful 10 Hp Johnson short shaft outboard. 4 stroke like new with tank Etc. Lots of outboard hoods. High Hp ones. Dive gear. Dinghy launch wheels Etc etc. And a zodiac Futura. 12.6 ft. Like new. Inflatable floor Etc every extra sat nav ship to shore echo sounder fish finder lots of extras. With trailer or not
