May have a 135 Blackmax in PX soon, that'll be cheap, do you need 21 or XL ?

A 135 might be sluggish on a deep V Humber 7m. Depends on your needs obviously.

i think 150 be fine but the boat only weighs 500 kg, and is narrow beam, so sure 135 do at least 35 knots that be fine fore most people

My 5.4 weighs just short of 500 kg so surely your 7 mtr comes in a lot more than that.

Just a thought a mate told me the weight humber quote is for the bare boat.he found out when he realised the trailer which had been surplied was not legal to carry the weight of hi rig.he was second owner so no proof of who had cocked up.

My old 6 metre Humber Destroyer had a Johnson 150 VRO V6 4 adults we could push 43 knots wot and trimmed up. She sounded great. Never liked idling around though.

This was posted earlier today. Seems expensive to me, but 150 horses, 2 stroke and 25" leg.
