HDAV go for it. I've looked at the spec and to be honest if you want an SUP you have absolutely nothing to lose. Just the name "Mistral" adds value. I know it's not the same company as made some of the best windsurfers 40 years ago (I had 2 of their boards), but even if you don't like it, I'd think you will be able to sell it for at least £199 used on ebay.

That’s my thinking the £200 is a pretty safe investment plan is me and a local friend are nothing going to Lidl and trying to get 2 so have a decent chance hopefully and if it’s no good I’ll either return it or sell it might buy a better one at some point and keep this for friends etc as it seem SUP is best enjoyed with a friend or 2

Stil have a mistral long board in my parents garage

Those Lidl ones look fine and for the money how can you go wrong. I bet they will be perfectly fine as well.... Go for it but don't dither as I suspect they will be gone in seconds

Providing the weather warms up, I'm sure it will be great

I told my daughter to get down there (seaside town) for 7am and she didnt take my word, she arrived at 7:40am to find the queue went quite a way. When she got to the checkout where they were handing them out (one per customer) she and the 3 people in front of her were unlucky. All gone!

Well due to the awful forecast for the weekend I took the opportunity to get out for the maiden voyage tonight. Did ok didn’t go for a swim for £200 impressed, the board isn’t as stable as other I have used but for calm rivers lakes seems fine, see how I get on on the sea.....
