Thats a Wetline (step above Waveline),generic brand thats trying to move above the rest. They actually are quite good, they do a 265 'V' airfloor which is very similar to the Honwave, great sib.
Although I don't like slatted floors (they don't plane, the slats break, heavier than an airfloor etc) at that price its a no brainer. As a tender with a low powered engine they are fine, but rubbish to row.

Thanks landlocked, I will be using a Tohatsu 3.5 four stroke which I have had for 2 years and its never been used, so I thought maybe a sib would be a good excuse to make good use of it.

keep an eye on Ebay, you occasionally see used airfloors, stick one of those in and it will transform it.

As long as you understand the limitations of that kind of floor, its a seriously cheap and decently made small sib.
The 3.5 will be perfect for the boat, light and easy to transport.

Ask yourself if you will be happy with the limitations of the slat floor over time. I'm thinking those are: - Have to mind where you step/sit. Maybe can't sit on the floor?
- Poor tracking under tow
- Poor planing performance
If OK with the above, then it's a nice wee SIB

Maybe inflatable cushion would suffice.
Not really thought about towing ?? mmm
I guess with a 3.5 4 stroke I won't be planing.

Max motor 2.5hp? wouldnt trust it.
You could always go for something like a Seago 290, it gives you the option to go up in engine sze then to a 10hp if you really want to.
They don't sell for much on Ebay, I think I paid £200 for mine, as new, only inflated once.

The worst investment is to buy a poor performance sib, if used for other purposes than as a tender, will bore you real soon, go for at least a 320 airmat, wooden or alum panel floor. A 3.5 Hp will move much better that size sib than smaller ones. Later can upgrade to a 9.8 or even a 15 HP.

I would normally agree with you, bigger and faster are always best . But look at the price of the sib he is looking at, its crazy cheap. You could stick that back on Ebay next year if you get bored and get back the same , if not more than you paid for it. The Wetline also matches his existing engine really well, an air or hard deck is not going to improve performance any way.

Nos the largest one on Ebay is this 2.6 and the price looks good. What do you think ? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SEAGO-2-6-...item19dce9a706

Blimey!! this is harder than I thought getting a SIB
So that leaves me back to option one the "Wetline"... its a 2.6 and rated to 5.9 hp. Just want it for pottering around and fishing, for that price would you go for it ?

Yes, but I'd look for an airfloor.
