OK, the search is over

Picked up a F-Rib 330 and 15HP Mariner 2 stroke last night from a chap on the "other forum".

Really nice condition, and looks to have been well looked after so now need to start planning the maiden voyage.

Will pop up some pics when I get a chance to unpack.

Thanks to everyone for your assistance in the process - got there in the end

Cheers,

MM

Will do, need to sort out all my "gear" first but will post up another thread about that! Decided the 3.3 was a nice "in the middle" size, not as heavy as a 3.8 but big enough to fit 3 of us in comfortably and with the 15HP 2 smoke, light enough to manhandle!

Cheers,

MM

What to buy - Aerotec/ Honwave/ F-Rib?

If you have a £1000 I would buy new! your options are just below zodiac cadet (£1150) so it's honwave v or non v or my personal favourite excel volante for serious SIBing really that's it and all that comes to mind right now. There is sunsport and now europa versions of the honwaves now available to different styling than the honwaves.

mm that looks great... very very clean. I've had both Mariner and Mercury variants of that engine and they have both served well.

+1 nice set up just be careful of your anchor bucket rubbing on the tubes.

Nice boat mm289 and they are exceptionally seaworthy and dry even in big seas ..this video should give you an idea of how they handle a bit of chop

Its the 360 size in the video and the one doing the wave jumping is the 375 size

I have met Matt several times in the past and know he looks after his gear ..so you should have no problem with it
