Wheels for Elling KB350

Hi All

I have just purchased an Elling KB 350. I was going to put beachmaster style wheels on it, but after doing some measurements I don't think there will be enough clearance. With it being a cat style boat I require something with a bit more depth. I do quite like the wheels that would curve under the transom to balance things a little better. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Have a look at this thread as it may contain some ideas for you...

https://www.rib.net/forum/f50/trem-h...tec-69303.html

If you want wheels that flip up then in all the sets I've had the Trem are the best for quality and operation...

If you want wheels that you take off each time (as I do) then the Zodiac own brand wheels are the tallest and strongest of that type...

These are their cheaper and slightly lighter version (but still very strong)…

Then there are their heavy duty ones which I have... daft price new but very strong with large tyres…

Used ones here...

BTW really looking forward to hearing how you get on with the Elling 350.

Thanks for the quick reply Fenlander.

I do like the look of the Trem heavy duty wheels with the tab at the bottom. I can't find any measurements anywhere to work out if they will fit on my transom. The length from the top of the mounting bracket to the locking tab. Also, it would be handy to know what they weigh.

Look at Stevem's post #19 and his third photo where he helpfully has a tape measure next to the Trem mounting points...

Re their weight... I'll offer a somewhat useless opinion of "not too much". Often the heaviest part is the wheel & tyres… which I review obsessively here...

Post #50 shows my current and possibly final variant.

Thanks for these. It looks like 9" from the top of the mounting bracket to the locking tab.
