Which Honwave.

Looking at a Hinwave setup.

I will keep it on The Isles of Scilly for holidays 5/6 weeks per year. Just for general messing about around the islands, not out in anything too challenging.

Which would be the best model for these waters? 4 meter with the ally floor or a v air floor? I will only ever be 2 up max.

What outboard?

Will it be left inflated next to launch or will you be transporting it?

Do you plan on fishing from sib?

If it's going to be left inflated for weeks, or used for fishing.... Ally floor

If you intend to inflate/deflate often and aren't fishing, then the much lighter, quicker set up air floor would be (is) my choice

Probably a 20hp outboard.

It'll be left inflated.

No fishing...just stuff for a picnic/BBQ on one of the many beaches etc

If for your usage you are keeping it inflated and have easy access to launching (fishing or no fishing) then no question, solid floor all the way. The 4m solid floor HW is a big heavy boat. Go for the max engine you can on that - 25 2 stroke would be ideal.

Beautiful outfit here, trailer included - save a fortune!:
