They used to be two different companies until Pelican bought out the competition.

They use different designs of catch and have different sizing options. Apart from that opinion seems to be that there isn't much to choose between them.

Peli are a bigger name and better established (and more expensive) than Storm. I would have bought a Storm but then I got a deal on a Peli 1400 from Channel RIBs that was too good to refuse

Had a result this week -picked up a mahoosive Peli 1550 in yellow for £30 - you can fit everything bar the kitchen sink in here, makes a great seat too!
