Thats it, I know nothing about SIBs is this worth buying or worth not looking at? I would appreciate any input it's 12.5 foot and is an ex lifeboat from a trawler, I'm not sure if this is worth the £350 or offers asking price.

RIBase
it looks a bit tiered but all the bits are there 350 a bit steep i would say but you would have to have a good look at it might need a bit of TLC if it holds air ok and the transom & floor are not rotten your in with a chance i see some patching but expected seams are a big thing and all around the transom. fenlander will be along shortly he has a wealth on knowledge on sib repairs.
all depends what you want it for too if your putting a 2.5hp on it and using in calm water it might be ok as it is if it holds air and not got any serious damage
cheers

Well only recently acquired in truth... and from advice on here... but it was a baptism of fire and taught me loads so I have no fear of making repairs now.

I'd just wonder if you want a SIB to use or fancy a project? I've seen (and sold myself) old Hypalon SIBs in the 3.1-3.5m range for that price that were ready to use with no repairs needed and immaculate.

Look at this which made less than £200... zodiac 4 man inflatable | eBay

And this which made less than £100... C- Craft inflatable boat. not zodiac, avon | eBay

Personally if I was looking at the one in your image... and I had reason to want such a thing...I'd offer £100 and see what reaction that got... and only then as long as it was holding air and there was no transom rot.

Thank you all for your advice, my instinct was that it was a pile of s@@te, I just needed it confirmed by the people who actually know something about inflatible boats as I haven't a clue. The boat is still for sale and I think probably will be for a long time! On a brighter note I saw an Avon RIB for sale on an online free ads, it was listed for all of 30 seconds before I thought "I'm having that", £100 was the price and I thought that it must be worth that money as a gamble on a photo.......
