Yam 360S

Bought this secondhand last summer before I knew much about sibs. What is the general opinion of its quality as opposed to other makes.I notice now the decking is ply and has slight de-lamination beginning on the aft-most section. Also the strip holding the front handle is beginning to tear.

I had a yam 380s and loved it - bought new in 2001 with an ali floor and a ply front triangle section. Never had an issue with it.

I'd guess that if yours is all ply it'll be older then the 2001 model I had?

im with you, my 360s had the aluminium and pvc floor - the only problem i had was a couple of times the front board would pop out of place if you crashed into the back of a wave in a following sea. used to go like stink with a 25 on the back - no wonder really given it should only have had a 20!
the patch which held the front handle / eye also started showing signs of wear, so all i did was make a bridle which fed through the front eye but was tied to the d rings on each side.
im sure you could always find better boats, but mine had several years of heavy use with no real problems but plenty of fun.
