Zodiac 470. Defender keel?

Hi!

My Zodiac 470 project is slowly going forward. The valves are now air thight, and the engine is on its way.

However the missing keel is still a problem. Used keel are close to impossible to find. So l'm concidering a Defender keel. The keel can't be longer than 357 cm. And from the center of the valve to the end can't be longer than 62 cm.

The Defender keel is 345,5 cm long and 56,5 cm from valve to end.

Will it fitt? Or will I mess up the performance of the 470?

It's only $ 115, but maybe a bargain...?

The F470 keel from cgoing arrived in Norway today. Perfect! No problem with shipping to my US adress, and from US to Norway.

If anyone has a F470 alu floor to offer I`ve be happy to make a deal. The floor must be aprox; Width: 40.25" (lip to lip), Length (assembled): 101". (Thats aprox: Width 102 cm, length 257 cm).

Gooday mate! Shipping form Australia is no problem, but I need the stringers aswell. The floor will add no rigideness without the stringers.

I will try to find a complete floor, but if I don`t I will contact you later.

Last update is that the FC 470 Alu floor with stringer is on it`s way from Sydney, Australia to Oslo, Norway. It`s sea fright so it wil take at least 6 weeks, but I`m happy finally getting my hands on a good floor!

My Zodiac FC 470 is finally Complete and put together with orginale parts for all over the world:


-Boat brought in Pearl Harbour, Hawai (Milltiary auction)
-Valvetops from the UK
-Keel from Connecticut, US (Thanks cgoing!!)
-Fast inflation system from Australia, Queensland
-And finally originale alu floor from Australia, Sydney.


All parts shipped to Norway; no problems at all.


Still need a steering console thoug, so maybe cgoing can make me an offer :
