Zodiac Cadet Fastroller 2.85m

I've just bought new, a Zodiac Cadet Fastroller 2.85m and Mercury 6hp 4stroke, what with the weather and other commitments I've not got them wet yet!
What I would like to know is; is the standard prop that comes with the Mercury the right prop for the 2.85 Fastroller? Because of the 'running in' period I won't know for a while and for the warranty to be valid, it needs its first service after 20hrs or 3 months whichever the sooner which seems stupid to me.

Anyone out there got a 2.85 Fastroller with a 6hp 4 stroke?

Cannot help you with the 6 HP, but we run one with 9.8 which is more power than it needs.

After you break in the engine, you could use a tach to fine tune whatever prop gives you the best service. The intended service will have an effect on the prop, but you will probably be happy with the standard prop for general use.
