Aloha Guys'

New to the black boat mafia scene and I need some help.

I am missing a keel tube...guy said it would work without it but I think that's were my problem is with the floor buckling up with is happening.

Also it has the aluminum floor panels 4 piece with 2 stringers about 4ft. long ...is this complete or am I missing something?

I took the boat out and as I gave it throttle it wanted to buckle and drop the transom in the water
It has a Johnson 55hp motor on it. Any and all help appreciated

You definitely need the keel tube no question and your missing floor panels and stringers I am not an expert on the 470 guessing 4.7 m long but you should have wooden front panels that flex for the bow too have a look on the zodiac site.

Just had a look on google images I might be wrong but it looks like 4 Ali panels either 1 or2 bow wood panels and two stringers which look quite long to cross the Ali panels.
Cheers

Thanks...that's what I'm thinking too. I was hoping the keel tube wasn't that important

The keel tube does two things it forces the floor panels up against the tubes first then it pushes down to form the v floor and keel keeping it taught for best performance making the whole boat ridgid. The bombard c series use a wooden keel to the same effect.

Welcome to the BBM. I would not run that boat till you get a proper keel.
Keels come up on ebay a few times a year, also check San Diego Craig list.
Cheers
