Zodiac Fuel Bladder

I bought two Zodiac fuel bladders (P/N 66079) a while back. Turns out the bladders sadly had some small leaks in them, not to the point of being unusable though. However I still don't want to have them leaking in the boat.

My question is, has anyone dealt with it before and been able to successfully repair the holes to stop the leakage?

In the meantime, I'm using my 18gal bow bladder but I don't want/need to always take it out when the smaller 6gal would suffice.

Where are the leaks? Are they the actual material/seams or where the filler cap fits to the bag?

It's not the filler caps. Its coming from underneath, but under the outer layer of the material forming the bottom. So I don't know if its a seam or if its the material itself.

I didn't want to risk further damage by trying to remove that outer layer unless I knew is was indeed possible to fix the material or if its a case of "once it starts, it's a goner"

If it’s not coming from the filler, it can only be a puncture (overstating the obvious I know). They are particularly well constructed, so I don’t know how you’d strip it down to find the leak tbh. When I got mine, I made an adapter to go onto the fuel outlet to attach to the compressor, I blew it up & checked for leaks, you could do something similar.

I did that when I first got them, but have no need to do it again as it wouldn't tell me anything I don't know without trying to strip it down sadly. Assuming it is a small puncture and not the seams, what would be the best method of sealing it?
