Hi all!
I am totally new to boating and RIBs/SIBs. After reading through this forum, I went ahead and bought a Zodiac MK2 Classic earlier this summer. What a blast!
Long story short, someone decided to steal one of the floorboard pieces out of my truck - along with a duffel bag of clothes... but they left all my tools? Who knows what motivates people...
Zodiac informed me that they will only sell me the whole floor for a whopping $1500, so I've been trying to make the missing piece out of plywood, but I am having trouble getting the exact fit.
I am hoping someone with a Zodiac MK2 Classic with the aluminum/wood floor could take some measurements for me!
I am missing the second to front floorboard piece - it is black and plywood and trapezoid shaped. It is roughly 23 inches long (not including the aluminum piece of it).
If anyone could provide me the exact length, not including the aluminum "connecting piece" that would be incredible. Width measurements would also be really appreciated!
My boat is the one in this video for reference:

So far I've been cutting pieces out of plywood then epoxying two strips of aluminium to the back as the "connector" - it's working pretty well but it's hard to test the exact fit until I go through the whole process of epoxying on the aluminum, tee-pee-ing the floorboards and then seeing if its too short or long, then shaving off an inch, rinse repeat!
