Cap Breizh: slipways in France and much more
Hi all,
Cap Breizh is a non-profit organization based in Brittany (France) and dedicated to inflatable boats (Ribs and Sibs).
Its members gathers several time per year in various spots of France for ribs cruises.
Since the creation of Cap Breizh, a huge amount of datas has been collected and is shared on their website to help and educate ribs’s owners. Most of the website is in french language, but you should be able to locate what will be useful for you and translate it using Google.
How to use the Cap Breizh database ( http://www.capbreizh.com/ ):
a few translations of our headers: Bricolage (Do It Yourself ), Tutoriaux (Tutorials), Galerie photos (Gallery of our rib cruises), Cales de Mise à l'eau (Slipways).
Since today, there is also a part of their forum dedicated to english users: http://www.capbreizh.com/phpbb/viewf...c78bb79f48c00e
Hope it will help everyone planning a boating trip to France

The French forum looks great! I spent two weeks on holiday in Brittany for the first time during summer and loved every minute of it but didn't have the boat with us. We spent our time on the beaches between Binic and Saint-Cast-Le-Guildo and it looked such a great place for cruising that all the family want to go back and take the boat with us. I'll be registering shortly... Do I qualify for a free case of Brittany cider?

Capbreizh.com
Would recommend UK ribsters to visit to this forum, I'm just feeling my way around at the moment but the site is very good and the members are great so far. Well done to (JK) Ribnet for introducing CAP to us so that we can grow the RIB user community and gather on a wealth of knowledge and experience from around the world. Also thanks to CAP for a nice welcome.

boat hire
To whom it may concern,
I am planning on proposing to my girlfriend on the weekend of the 28th of July. I would like to hire a rib from say Saint-Malo or anywhere along the Northern coast of Brittany where i currently live and work and surprise my girlfriend by taking her on a romantic weekends excursion along the coast stopping at various ports.
I have asked her to take Friday 27th and Monday 30th off work so i would like to charter a rib for 4 days over that weekend. I have experience on the sea as i have been on several long distance boat journeys since a young age, starting at around 15 years of age on my fathers Motor Boat.
I look forward to hearing from you either via email or alternatively you contact me on my French mobile 06 69 57 99 38.
Many Thanks
Oliver Lucas
