Thanks

I just had a look and it looks like there are slipways at both places in the marinas and they look (from what I can see) to be public too

Right - you can slip in many marinas there BUT be careful if you have a car higher than 1.90m ...
Planned to slip this autumn in this area to go to Cassis but COULD NOT FIND any slipway which was not limited by a barrier to 1.90m ..
My G class is 2.10m high so I went quite frustrated back home to Cogolin .
Will do the trip with the Searider new year - starting from Cavalaire - the best slipway I know down there .

Thanks for the replies. I did look at Google earth but it doesn't give you the whole picture. There are a few slips on the northern end of the Ciotat marina but I can't tell if they're private, low barriers etc...
I've not noticed a height barrier whenever I've been to Cassis but wasn't looking too hard. Any idea if one can overnight as a visiting boat in Cassis for a couple of nights as it seems to be constantly rammed ....
