Hi I have a 4m med v hull with a very low hours 30hp 2002 Yamaha 2 stroke engine. when the throttle is fully open it will do 26 mph according to the sat nav. The issue is its a little slow to get on the plane, and flat out the revs dont seem that high (but I have no rev counter)
1.I have been advised that the prop 9 7/8 x 13f may be to big?
2. i have looked into getting a rev counter but this seems very expensive. can I get a temporary one to check max revs?
3.Have tried altering man trim angles.
4.should I remove the doel fins on the engine?
