Absolute beginner
Hi folks,

I was raised on a Scottish hilltop and live in Shropshire so have no boating experience to mention. However as a diver who uses charters quite a lot, I was told to get my boating up to scratch..... so I'm here to lurk and learn a little, probably ask a few dumb questions and generally make a nuisance of myself - you've been warned

I did a 2 day pb course out of Plymouth on a Delta 680x which was great but havent been able to consolidate it. Moving to Oxford in September which is only 65 miles from Southampton.... so anybody down that way looking for free crew in exchange for answering some of my questions, feel free to give me a bell.

hi john

I live in oxford & do my boating in Southampton, i currently have a 29ft cruiser (sunseeker) but i started life on this forum with RIBS, boat is for sale with RIB to follow.

You are more than welcome to join me as i often drive down last minute (on my own) & company is always prefered (specially in boating).

hope you pick up some valuble knowledge of this site, it certainly helped me!!
