Hi

There are at least 2 around in Cumbria that I know of. I’m sure there will be many more.

Ulswater, Coniston and Derwent water are your friends [emoji1]. Windermere just want your money lol.

I'm in Cumbria, based near Whitehaven so usually go to sea, not that its the most interesting coast. Have launched on Ullswater (from Glenridding) but generally the speed limits are, well, limiting. Derwent is out closest lake but quite shallow. The others are a pain to trailer to, so we tend to go to sea as its 10mions to the slip.

Always happy for a bit of company though.

This is my boat. Only been wet once but I've had a fair few trips out in the Solway, usually sticking to the coast up to Maryport or down to Seascale. The area around St Bees head is quite nice.

I have a couple of rods but can't say I fish. We've dangled a lure or two in front of mackerel but the kids/wife usually loose interest in a few mins.
