First thread

Hello everyone

My wife and I are new to the exciting world of ribs.
We have a 5.7 mitre Brig Navigator.
Any suggestions on how to gain experience on the Solent.
I have done the intermediate power boat course, also VHF radio licence and have
a first aid certificate.
My wife is a qualified passenger!!!!:
Training is fine, but experience counts the most I believe..

Any help or advice would be most welcome.

Thanks for reading

John.

Hi John

If your down in the Solent tomorrow why not join us all in the round The IOW cruise. About 45 RIBs taking a gentle cruise round for the MacMillan Cancer Charity. If you don't fancy taking your own RIB there are still some boats with spare sears looking for crew. Would be a great way to build experience and confidence with like minded boaters
