Flatacraft Force4

[Flatacraftforce4]

We've just bought a Flatacraft Force 4 and are new members of Ribnet, so be gentle lol!
Does anyone know what shaft length the ouboard should be?
I believe the standard shaft 40hp '73' Johnson it came with is original, but I can't be sure.


Any info on these boats would be much appreciated.

Hi and welcome to the forum. I only do SIBs these days but well remember these Flatcrafts nipping about the waters when I was young (early 70s ?) and remember well they looked huge fun.

They were standard to start with and then changed to long in mid 70s.

I love them, my first RIB, I would have another if I could find one in excellent condition.

Thank you, this one is in amazing condition. Looks like it's been dry stored since the 70's,original gel coat, seats, why even the tyres on the trailer are the original Michelins. It has the factory cover also, it was quite a find.
