Good day all,
Ran across this forum, and really liked the idea of one for rhibs. Thought I would share my Rosborough Roughwater 9.11 with you. She was developed from the Rosborough 9.11 rhib that is generally used for police/miliitary operations.
Bob Rosborough and I got together in 2010 and came up with the idea of a fast cruising rhib trawler. Conepatus is the result. She is a fully outfitted, trailerable go any where boat. The only limit on her time out of port is the fuel capacity. Non plan cruise is about 5KM (nautical miles) per gallon and 1KM/gal at 25kts. Top speed is 32kts @ .8KM/gal. So with 140 gal US of fuel, her range is respectable.
Space in the cabin is limited, as one might expect, but for a couple on adventure cruising she is perfect. We have cruised over 11,000 miles on her bottom, and trailered over 9,000 miles. She does well for what she was built for.
