Hello all. I am going to pick up my new RIB tomorrow. It's way smaller than most shown on this site, but it will be enough to make me hapy. It is an Avon Bayrunner 420 with 50 HP Yamaha EFI. We will be using it entirely on Lake Tahoe in Nevada. I believe I got a sufficiently good deal on the purchase as to warrant buying the boat now and storing it until the beginning of next season. As near as I can determine the MSRP would be around $18475. I am paying $14215.

420 is, I'd guess, about in the middle range of the boats on here, so don't feel like an outsider on that front.

Make sure you wear your PFD on Tahoe; that water is damn cold. Oh, and some postings on ramp availability would be appreciated; most of the websites listing open marina's on Tahoe seem to have a 3 year lag to real conditions.
