Hello :)

Hi I have just joined this forum and am a relative newbie to boating I had a little inflatable with a 2.5hp for a couple of years and then went onto a valiant v490 with a mariner 60hp which I love and is my pride and joy. I bought it at the end of March and have been out on it 5 times only this sunday I got my confidence in the boat and was almost going full throttle and starting to look for wash which my dad being the passenger didn't enjoy going about 25+knots in choppy sea

Welcome it looks a great boat - I wonder how long before you're itching to get something bigger and faster!!!!

Are you trailing the boat or keeping it on a wet berth? Only ask because if you are keeping it in the water you might want to give some thought to protecting it (if it's not anti-fouled already).

Anyhow, hope you have fun!

Which in turn is no bad thing, as you can then go all sorts of places with relative ease.

Bigger isn't always better, as a lot of SR4 owners wll testify!
