Hello everybody,
I have just joined ribnet. I passed my ICC on a rib many years ago and have been used to using a 23ft. (150 hp) Galia on the sea in Norway. Currently I have no boat but want to get afloat. The problem is that I live 100 miles from the sea.
I am lookling to buy a Rib that I can use on the canals, rivers and sometimes on the sea. The boat I have in mind would be about 5-6M. with a relatively low powered engine of maybe 20-30 hp. because of canal and river use and also because I want to trail it.
Any tips or hints about buying such a boat would be appreciated or, if you have such a boat for sale please let me know.
