Hi everyone, I've just bought my first sib...an old 3.8 m achilles with a 15 hp 2 stroke tohatsu. I live close to the solent..this might sound ideal but, I've no idea of where the best places to get out and try it out..without showing myself up!
Any ideas please? I'm a bit worried about getting caught out with tides etc...

I live in Alton. Hauling island is closest, but anywhere in the solent would be good really. I know langstone harbour but that's about as far as my knowledge goes!

Defo Bish - Sunday is due to be awesome weather...run down the A32 to Portsmouth to the Camber and come with is Lots of other boats about to have a look at to get ideas and thoughts on what works and what doesn't and lots of experiance on hand to !

Sounds great, but I've arranged to go to bracklesham bay camping at the weekend! I shall be trying the water out for sure!!
