Hi all,
Very new to the whole scene, bought myself a 3.2m Quiksilver with a Yamaha 4HP 4 stroke back in Sept 2020. Little did I know the world was going to go the way it did, so only two outings on the new toy, once out from Aberavon, South Wales. The other was out of Portsmouth utilizing a free slipway.
Bought it primarily for fishing and some recreational use with the family, been scouring the usual sites, gaining more information to keep myself and others safe whilst at sea, so any information for a novice would be much appreciated.
Would also like to make contact with like minded people around South Wales, the more the merrier on fishing trips I say!

Hi and welcome to the forum. Yep it's been a funny time for getting out... my SIB only made it as far as the garden in 2020.

Hi XxwardyxX and welcome to the forum.
Hopefully we will all get out a lot more later this year. I think I was one of the lucky ones in 2020, managed to get over 35hrs on the water.
I will be down your way (Gower) mid July covid permitting. If you get to know of any good launching spots let me know.
