Hi Fenland. I have a new Honwave T40 and New Honda BF 20 in stock. I can offer it to you for £4300 inc VAT. You would need to collect it from us at Farndon Marina as we always PDI the SIB and engine and do a handover to you. I hope this is of interest to you. Cheers Alex

Welcome to the forum Rodders. I'm a bit further north. Usually boat as far south as Montrose. Nice part of the world - but North Sea usually has a chop on it. Some good fishing, mackerel, cod, haddock, dab, etc.

Arbroath has their own webcam - so you can see first hand conditions, as well as advance weather planning via Met Office and XC Weather.

Only thing I can add - I used to run a Zodiac GT MKII CGT when I was a teenager with aluminium floor and 25hp (Yamaha 25D). That was for holidays on the west coast, so we would build the boat and it was up for 2 weeks.

Building from scratch on a slip will reduce your time on the water, plus you need to consider how it's transported. Lugging a 4-stroke out of the back of a car isn't fun, unless there's two of you.

When logging in, click the 'Remember Me' box and that issue will be resolved. As Fenlander said, it's a time out scenario.

Even though a trade member have to confess it is rather annoying jumping onto threads peddling wares. A few threads recently have been bombed by Rebel Ribs.

Paying trade members are very welcome but I get the point both of you, if marketing crosses over to a negative vibe it's not working. Leave it with me.

On a wider note do always remember the Report Post button which sends an alert to the whole admin team who will consider the issue.

Hi Spartacus thanks for the link. I was out with the Montrose RNLI last summer and was very taken with their 5m SIB. They gave me quite a lengthy shot on the helm and was sold on getting myself a boat. I’ve been out with a mate fishing on his 5m RIB he uses the slip at Bervie. I have a 2.5m trailer so transport isn’t my biggest concern although a boat trailer would be better for keeping the SIB inflated and getting it in and out of the water. Cheers

I get what your saying about blow and go it being a larger boat but my goal would be to get a trailer maybe in year 2. I built myself a 2.5m trailer (not a boat trailer)and could modify this in the meantime if blow and go got to cumbersome
I must live just along the coast from you, I have a T38 if you want to have a look at it in the flesh
