Hello all

First off let me say Thank you for having this site and 2nd I am a new Rib owner. Well new to me that is. I picked up a Mercury Rib this past weekend for nothing but I need to re-attach the floats to the fiberglass. Can anyone recommend a adhesive or glue for this project?

Welcome to Ribnet, look's like a big job's broke out already. If you look back on here not so long ago there was a thread running on the subject of gluing tubes to the hull and the types of glue etc, normally resin, hardener and cleaning solvent .

good luck.

Small world, I'm your neighbor in Smithfield, NC. Having a BLAST with my newly acquired Avon Rover 310 Lite. Was down at the ICW last Saturday with it. These RIB's are a go anywhere, do anything kinda boat. I have a 22' Stingray with 300 hp that I left home and took the RIB instead !!!

Well Hello Neighbor! I am still trying to get mine back together. It's a small one but I look forward to getting it in the water. I checked around and found that I am limited to a 10 hp motor so she wont be breaking any speed records but I should be able to fish any pond or lake I want. Once I get her finished I will post more photos.
How long have you had your Rib?

Had my RIB about 3 weeks now. It's just a 10' with a 9.9 Mercury on it. I can hit 23 mph verified by GPS. That's when I'm alone, with my wife about 20 mph, but I didn't check that with a GPS yet.
It handled the big boat wakes and waves on the ICW in Wilmington last Saturday just fine.
