Hello everyone!

Hi all! New member here just wanted to say hi!
I recently got my very first boat ever. A Saturn TR430(14’ RIB) and I can’t wait to get it on the water. I’m still missing a few items from my check list, want to avoid any issues with the Coastguard/law.
Anyways, I hope to learn and have a great time with you all!

Hi South FL and welcome to the forum. The Saturn boats are usually what we'd call inflatables or SIBs if the outer floor is stretched material... or is yours a GRP hull?

What sort of kit are you required to carry in that area?

It’s not a hard bottom, it has an inflatable quill, but I don’t have a trailer or space at home where to park the boat. So I liked the portability and easiness it offered being able to launch it anywhere, much less having to pay a marina fee. Boating, at least here in the US has gotten crazy expensive.. since this is my very first boat, I’ll be learning with it and it’s something that won’t break the bank like a Zodiac(very nice boats)..
