Hello from Atlanta, GA USA

Hello Everyone-

My name is Jason and I'm a machinist. I'm in a sailing club on Lake Lanier in Georgia, and I just picked up a 1995 Avon RIB. It needs some cleanup, tube care, and blister repairs in the hull, but I'm excited to have it! I'm looking into more aggressive cleaners and doing a lot of research- it's too bad RIBs aren't as common in the US!

Hi Jason,

I’m considering buying a 12 ft inflatable to enjoy Lake Lanier. Looks like you started doing that a few yeara ago. What has your experience been using a small inflatable on the lake? Is it too busy with fast boat to safely zip around in an inflatable?
