Hello from Bristol

Hello all.
Thought i'd come by and say hi as im looking to buy a small powered rib on a trailer. So helloo!

I'd like to spend £3k on a rigid bottom rib to use inshore just to plod about in really. I dont want anything fast and It would need to suit 2 adults and 2 children.

Could anyone suggest the best for that kind of money ..

Thanks for any help.

Hi .. welcome ...Hmmm, 3k is on the slim side for what your asking, 4.7 is the smallest I would want to go with 4 people in and seated comfortably. I just dont think you will get a reliable and safe outfit for your requirements for 3k.
If you look on ebay ,that will give you a relatively good idea what you can expect.

Unless a 3.5 tender with a bench seat for two and two sit on the tubes which is not ideal but price wise it will work

Im guessing trailer it around or keep afloat in the marina here?
Use on the Severn?

Hi matt.
Have to draw the line somewhere but I could go up a bit, but it can go on and on cant it.

I don't realy want them sat on tubes as they'll fall in sure as eggs! I have been looking on ebay but its a minefield and there isnt anything local.

Given you say 4.7, what kind of thing would you say I should look at as a starter then ?

I looked here but I guess this is where you mean sitting on tubes.
