Hello From Cork, Ireland.

Hi From Cork. I've just bought my first boat, an old searider 4.7. It's got a sound hull and a decent engine (DF50) but the tubes are in need of replacing although they do hold air. I've got two quotes for retubing in Hypalon one for €2500, the other was double that. Which sounds right? Thanks Denis.

Knowing a few Friends who've had re-tubes on various sized RIBs done at Henshaws here in England... the Cheaper quote definitely sounds the most realistic
..presuming ofcourse they are a good outfit!

I would say that who ever you go with....make sure they've done good work in the past!...it may even be worth a call to Chris at Henshaws to get a second opinion/quote/info to put you're mind at rest.
Good luck...and Welcome to Ribnet!
Love Cork!
